Why should you keep your visitors having fun with your blog? That’s because when you do so, more people will be flocking to your blog just to enjoy the fun. And what’s the benefit for you? Of course, you’ll get more traffic, which means more income for you. But, how can you keep your visitors to have fun with your blog? Isn’t it a difficult thing to do? No.

Here are 7 ways to keep your visitors to have fun with your blog:

1. Inspire and motivate

If you can keep your blog readers inspired and motivated by your blog posts, then you’ve taken a step to make your blog more fun to them. Why? Nowadays, there are many boring blogs that don’t inspire their readers at all. In fact, they’re created solely for profit. Thus, the content they offer to the readers is usually rehashed and low quality. Most of them even scrape content illegally from other websites or blogs. If you can inspire and motivate your readers, then people will have a solid reason to come back to your blog and enjoy it.

2. Share interesting things about your life

Who says that people don’t care about what others are doing? If you are a blogger, your readers will get more enthusiastic if you can share your story with them. This is true especially if you’re a successful blogger. People want to know the secret behind your success. And thus, they want to hear your story.

3. Create a conversation

In your blog, you are communicating with other human beings. And–this is very important–you are also part of them. No one wants to read a robotic blog post. What does it mean by robotic blog post? Robotic blog post means a blog post written like a robot, without any conversation element. When you’re talking with others, you should be able to create a meaningful conversation in order to leave positive impression in their mind. It’s the same with your blogging activities. You should be able to create a meaningful conversation with your readers in your blog post.

4. Don’t post garbage

Blogging is easy. And you can throw almost anything in your blog post. However, if you take a look at your readers’ point of view, you’ll understand that posting garbage content will only hurt them and your blog in the long-term. Why? That’s because when your blog is full of useless information, then it won’t be fun for them to read your blog. As a result, they will leave your blog and decide to make no comeback to your blog. In the end, you are the one who will lose everything.

5. Be unique in your presentation

What I mean by this is that you should make each of your blog post uniquely carved for your readers. How to do this? If you want them to notice your blog and start having fun with it by exploring various elements of your blog, you should make sure to make unique presentation in each of your blog post. For instance, your visual presentation of your blog content must be uniquely yours. You may want to use paid images instead of free-for-all public domain images for your blog post. Or, you may want to use cartoon images in your blog post. The uniqueness of your blog post will add more fun in your blog.

6. Be responsive

Do you know what it likes to talk with a wall? It feels awful. You don’t get any response to your questions, and it looks incredibly stupid to do so. If you don’t know what it likes to talk with a wall, then go ahead. Try it. Do you see the frustration? Okay, it’s the same with blogging. When your readers are trying to ask questions regarding your blog post and you’re not responding to their questions, what do you think they will think about your blog? They will think that you don’t care about it. And so, they will also don’t care about you anymore. If you don’t like to hear your readers’ comments, then turn off your blog comments. Otherwise, be a responsive blogger.

7. Special events

Special events are the things that your blog readers will look forward to. Yes, they want to connect with you more. If you hold special events regularly, surely your readers will be attracted to your blog and keep their interest toward it. So, a simple 30-minute webinar that you hold weekly will add more traffic to your blog.

At least, you should come with regular special events for your blog to keep it fun and interesting for your readers.
