It has not been long since the ROE Web made a lot of changes for the better. Recently, ROE agreements went from paper agreements to online agreements. The ROE web agreements express the terms and conditions that must be followed when using the ROE web and Service Canada. Service Canada discussed changes to the ROE web and required all admins to accept the new terms and conditions. They were also required to have security questions in order to be able to log in to their account. This was for their security purposes.
In the middle of September 2012, ROE Web paper agreements became obsolete. Administrators are now required to use the online agreement in order to use the ROE services on ROE Web. They are not able to be submitted to the system without first accepting the online agreement.
Client ID Number and Security Question Changes
ROE Web Admins are required to have their client ID numbers and their security questions linked to their account. This helps to ensure security and privacy of the ROE web accounts.
New Primary Officer?
If a business has a new administrator, or primary officer, then there are forms that must be completed. You must submit the Change of Primary Officer form before they are able to start navigating and using the services offered on ROE Web. There is a lot of information about this on the web.
If you want to learn more about registering for and using ROE Web then you will want to go to their website. It is www.servicecanada.gc.ca/roeweb. You can also call them directly at 1-800-367-5693.
